Colen "Wayne" LaPlante, AIF® has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. As a partner at FSV, Wayne consults with clients and prospects on a variety of topics to assist them in achieving financial stability.
Prior to joining FSV, Wayne served as a senior director for industry leading asset management companies. In his role, he was responsible for distributing products that included mutual funds, exchanged traded funds, separate accounts, variable annuities, sub-advised portfolios, offshore funds, retirement plans and college savings plans.
Raised in Texas, Wayne received a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Houston. His career led him and his family to relocate to Virginia in 1999. He has an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation and holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 Licenses.
Wayne is active in the community and serves on endowment board at his church. He is married to Kathy and they have two grown children, Steven and Emily. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, fishing, traveling, and staying fit.
